Everyone has strengths and struggles. Therapy is a chance to build trust and understanding and to support peoples’ efforts to heal, learn and grow, individually and in their relationships.

To start a conversation, contact me by phone: 204-688-8246 (Winnipeg number). Say in your message: 1 – your name, 2 – your phone number, and 3 – whether or not I can leave a brief message on your voicemail.

I have experience working with people who:

  • Are dealing with depression or anxiety or just feel lonely, stressed or overwhelmed at times.
  • Are parents. Sometimes I work just with a parent.  Sometimes I work with parents and children/teens together.
  • Have experienced trauma.
  • Experience conflict in their family or partner/spouse relationships.
  • Are exploring gender identities and sexual orientations.
  • Are interested in their relationship with spirituality and / or religion.

Who comes to therapy: I work one-to-one and also with pairs and groups including (not limited to): Partners, spouses, parents and children, other family members, friends and roommates.

I am also interested in working with people who care deeply about Climate Change and intertwined justice concerns, seeking to explore healing and resilience.

Fees and Insurance: My usual fees are comparable to those of therapists with similar education in Brandon and Winnipeg. Contact me for details.  Insurance companies may or may not cover my services.  Contact them for details.

My kind of therapy: I have a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree. I understand each person and relationship to be unique, and to have depth and strength!  Our selves, relationships and world are always changing. Therapy may help people guide some of that change in a more intentional way.

I work in a postmodern way (Narrative, Collaborative) and also integrate elements of Solution-focused and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), among others. I can offer the Circle of Security (Trademarked) program to support caregivers of children.
