Group Programs
I have a passion for running groups, which I have done since the early 90’s. I believe people heal in community and I have witnessed the positive impact of the group process. Groups currently range from Mastering Anxiety, Emotional Resilience to Mindful Self-Compassion retreats. Please contact if you would like to be put on a list for the next group that suits your needs.

Background - how I have come to work in the counselling field
I finished my first degree at the University of Alberta in Health Promotion. I went on to train in Applied and Clinical Counselling. My counselling career of almost 25 years has now spanned private practice including a decade of working with individual, couples and families in community mental health.
A significant amount of my early training was in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for treating anxiety. In the past several years, my training has focused on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for regulating emotions, Trauma (and Neuroscience), disordered eating/eating disorders, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion.
In additional to counselling, I am certified in conflict resolution and mediation.
